Coach Brtko about Feodorov’s first final: It was a great experience for her

Member of the EMPIRE tennis academy, Romanian player Francesca Andrea Feodorov (15), coached by Michal Brtko, advanced to her career first singles finals at the ITF International Junior tournament.

Francesca Andrea Feodorov has achieved that result at Junior ITF Luzern tournament (Grade 4) in September this year. Coach Michal Brtko was there also to help with her performance. "I have to say it was great for her, as she achieved her first final at the international tournament. It was great experience for her. She has a chance to convince herself she is mentally and physically ready for ITF level," said Brtko for tcempire.sk.
Brtko admitted it was a little surprise for both of them. "We were not expecting it, because it was her last tournament in the summer season. She went step by step and it culminates with breakthrough to the final."
And how their cooperation goes? "She is doing very well, because she loves to play tennis. She is hardworking and intelligent girl, who had no problem to train. But she is still sometimes stubborn and quiet and she needs to get self-confidence. In that reason, is very positive she advanced in Luzern to the last game," said Francesca Andrea Feodorov's coach.
