Zelenay with doubles title in France

EMPIRE Tennis Academy member Igor Zelenay achieved doubles victory at an ATP Challenger event in French city Quimper. 

Igor Zelenay played at ATP Challenger event Open BNP Paribas Banque De Bretagne in France together with his partner Russian Mikhail Elgin. They have defeated Austrian combination Knowle/Melzer 7-6, 6-2 in the first round, in the quarterfinals czech-croatian combination Jebavý/Sancic and in the semifinals team Behar (URU)/Golubev (KAZ) 3-6, 6-3, 10-8
They have also overwhelmed brothers Ken and Neal SKUPSKI in the finals again in match tie-break 2-6, 7-5, 10-5.
34-years old Zelenay, who was at his best number 50 on ATP doubles rankings, won his 29th career title in doubles. His last doubles title is from last summer at ATP Challenger in Prague with Austrian Julian Knowle.
