Andrej Martin makes singles quarterfinal and doubles semis in Rome

EMPIRE Tennis Academy Andrej Martin continues playing clay challenger season. He played in Rome, where he reached quarterfinal in singles and semis in doubles. 

Andrej Martin beat Serbian Laslo Djere in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 in first round and Chilean Christian Garin in two sets 6-4, 7-6(3) in Round 2. "Today, I played really well, although I had ups and downs in the beginning of the second set. But then I managed to come back from 1-5. I felt great on the court," said Martin after reaching the quarterfinal. 
He was playing against number one seed Robin Haase from Netherlands. Martin is sure of 17 points into the ATP ranking and is expected to occupy 120th spot in the online ranking. 
Andrej Martin does well also in doubles. Together with Croat Dino Marcan they were in semis. They played against home pair Gaio-Napolitano, but they lost 6-2, 4-6, 8-10.
