Mihalikova plays final at Egypt, she was beaten by Zvonareva

Member of EMPIRE Tennis Academy Tereza Mihalikova, coached by Stefan Vukov played ITF tournament final at Egypt ($15,000 USD).

Tournament Soho Square Egypt F18 Women's Future was played at Egyptian resort Sharm El Sheikh on hard. Tereza Mihalikova managed to beat German Prenkovic and then two Russian girls in advance - Vikhryanova and Zhurahleva. She played with Australian Walters (993th at WTA Rankings) at semifinal and after stunning performance beat her 6-2, 6-2.
Final with former world No. 2 Vera Zvonareva was the other story. Mihalikova played well, but Russian player acquired victory after big fight – 1-6, 7-6 (4), 7-5. Despite defeat it was a good time for Slovakian player as she has got 7 points to the WTA ranking. She is now at 460th place, but earlier she holds No. 429.
"It was very challenging final. I was just two points at victory. I had some chances in the third set, but Vera in this moments played extraordinary good with no mistakes. Generally, it was very good game, we played three hours with victory went to player with more experiences. Anyway, I stayed positive and hope, when I have got another chance to play with her, I will be able to beat her," said Tereza Mihalikova for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.
For sure, game against former No. 2 in the WTA Rankings was for Mihalikova special moment. "Since the tournament beginning there were many people, who heard Zvonareva come here and they wanted see her. When she was younger, I watching her game in television, because I like her style of play. She goes through tournament very easily, but I believed have a chance to beat her if I will be able to play my game. Of course, she is champion, the feeling was there. But I enjoyed the last game of the tournament. Especially when so many people came to see us," added Tereza Mihalikova
