She has overwhelmed Zara Diyas of Kazakhstan in the semifinals 6:4 and 7:5, and Vera Zvonareva of Russia in the finals in two sets 6-4 and 6-2.

WTA singles winner will get 160 points and 20 000 US dollars. Kateryna Kozlova has equalized her career best when reaching the singles finals, which was number 89 from October 2016. She will be number 83 in the rankings by winning the challenger title.

"Kateryna won her first WTA title without losing a set. I have to appreciate it very much. She will be at her WTA best on Monday that means she will play at Australian OPEN main draw. Since the season started till May she was losing only, so I'm very happy for her that she came back strong. During 3-4 months she reached necessary points for staying at Top 100. Now she needs to stay fit and continue hard work as she did so far," said Jaroslav Levinsky after the victory for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.
