Igor Zelenay clinched the doubles final in Gstaad

EMPIRE Tennis Academy member Igor Zelenay has played the final of the ATP tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland.

Slovak player Igor Zelenay, after some great results and triumphs in challenger events, achieved a significant result also on the ATP circuit. Together with Ukrainian Denys Molchanov he made final of the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad tournament with more than 500 000 USD prize money. 
Igor Zelenay partnerin Molchanov has played Friday semi-finals with Mexican -Portuguese pair Gonzalez / Sousa and defeated them 6-4, 6-4. “We played very well, basically we did not make any mistake. We were better and went for our goal. Both we had solid services, the duration of the game, when we were on serve, was short. If we will be able to repeat today performance, we would have a chance also in the final,” said Igor Zelenay for www.empire-tennis-academy.com. But the Slovak-Ukrainian pair did not make a last step, lost with Italian piar Berrettini / Bracciali 6-7 (2) 6-7 (5).

But it was for sure another good result for Igor Zelenay. He has got 150 points for ATP ranking and also 14 280 Euro for playing in the final.
