Dalma Galfi, the Australian Open semifinalist, was training before the tournament in Trnava

Dalma Galfi, No. 10 in the junior rankings, was training before the Australian Open tournament in the TC EMPIRE Trnava. The player of our extraleague team was under the supervision of coach Juraj Jancovic who coached her from April to November 2013

The Hungarian tennis player who is also a member of Hungarian Fed Cup National Team has advanced to the semifinals at the Australian Open. She was beaten then by Katie Swan (6-0, 6-7(7), 5-7). "Dalma had three match points, she could be in the final. It's a pity, she was so close. She spent four days in the TC EMPIRE Trnava club before the departure to Australia. She was training and playing with the players of our EMPIRE Tennis Academy: Tamara Kupkova, Viktor Banczi, Anna Laguza and Lenka Jurikova," revealed Juraj Jancovic, who is still in touch with a huge talent of Hungarian tennis. She mostly trains in Budapest.

If Galfi advances to the final, she will play against the Slovak tennis player Tereza Mihalikova who won the Australian Open junior singles title.
